We are passionate about partnering with various stakeholders in and outside South Africa to facilitate the onboarding process for students to join Momentum Medical Scheme’s Ingwe option. With our roots proudly anchored in the Momentum Metropolitan Group, our services include a national footprint in South Africa as well as through specialist healthcare partners in Africa.

We aim to provide our clients with sufficient information. Outlined below are the processes implemented by us, as an authorised financial services provider (FSP) license 27728, and our financial advisers - who act as our representatives that met the fit and proper requirement.

Complaints and Disputes with Momentum Medical Scheme
Momentum Medical Scheme is committed to ensuring that the interests of our members are protected at all times. This includes providing appropriate and adequate systems and processes to make sure we settle your claims timeously and providing a prompt response to any queries, complaints and disputes you may have. In order to affect this commitment, a Complaints and Disputes Policy and Procedure is in place.
Contact the Council for Medical Schemes
The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) governs the medical schemes industry and therefore your complaint should be related to the medical aid.
An aggrieved person has the right to appeal to the Council for Medical Schemes against the decision of the disputes committee. Such appeal must be in the form of an affidavit and directed to Council and shall be furnished to the Registrar not later than three months after the date on which the decision concerned was made. Complaints can be submitted by any reasonable means such as a letter, fax, e-mail or in person at the Council's Offices from Mondays to Fridays during 08:00 - 17:00.
